Wedding Officiant?
 My name is Steve Durkac
and I am an ordained minister and former hospital
chaplain who is now involved in a full-time
speaking ministry with ABC
Prayer
Ministries, helping churches
on the topics of prayer and spiritual
renewal..
I've
had my share of church boards, programs,
and fundraisers, but I still
enjoy officiating weddings and giving couples an
excuse to have a honeymoon!
My
ceremony is simple, not too long, not a Baptist
revival service nor a Roman Catholic mass, but of
course, I will customize it if you want a little more
or a little less.
Also,
I come to your location of choice, rather than asking
you to come to my spot on the beach, I'll come to
where it is convienant for you. Out back of your
condo, hotel, beach house, or at any of the public
access areas.
I
do not charge extra for sand cermonies, changing the
ceremony around, adding prayers, communion, having a
family member add a reading, or whatever you wish
to make your ceremony yours.

 My
own personal belief is that I would rather see
a couple have an ordained minister officiate
their services, regardless of how spiritual or
church-going they may be. I do not require
pre-maritial counseling or have any stipulations on
faith backgrounds.
I
would suggest surfing around and letting me if you

stuff.
 Then, click on the 1st
- Check Availability page and do
just that with the
form! If
I am available to perform your ceremony, I will email
you back and ask you to fill out the form at 2nd
- Confirm Wedding.
Also,
if I am not available on your date, I know one or two
other chaplains who may be.

P.S. - In case you are wondering...
I am Baptist, but please don't hold that against
me. I am the Parrotthead kind of Baptist. I'm not
stuffy and I don't preach at weddings. I hold
ordination credentials through a non-denominational
evangelical church, I have worked as an ordained
pastor for the Adventist denomination, worked on staff
as a pastor with a non-denominational church, and
most recently as a hospital chaplain for
Providence Hospital in Mobile. I am very
comfortable with various faiths and denominations as
well as those who may have no faith affiliation. You
